Gaming News Website Gamasutra has confirmed that Zynga‘s Austin development studio has laid off more that 100 employees, and possibly closed the branch entirely. Rumors have been circulating that Zynga’s Boston and Chicago studios may have similar bad news.

This comes on the heels of Zynga constantly being the news due to their stock plummeting. Zynga’s newest game, The Ville, has been shut down as well.

Zynga is releasing it’s third quarter earnings tomorrow, which are projected to be dismal.

Zynga is expected to release a statement soon.
