Nuketown 2025 map removed

with one comment

Nuketown 2025, a recreation of a popular Call of Duty: Black Ops map, has recently been revoked for players of Treyarch’s newest release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Confirmed by Game Desginer Director David Vonderhaar on November 19, players who received the map in part of a pre-order bonus would now no longer be able to play it in multiplayer matches. This is out of sync with other instances of pre-order bonuses, where buyers would have access to the special content whenever they felt like using it.

Players are noticeably disturbed by the news, and it is unclear whether or not the decision will be changed at time of post.

  1. Personally, I was sad & upset, I admit Nuketown 2025 was about all I played, the others maps are okay, not great. Now, Nuketown barely comes up with the Bonus choice. They seriously need to bring it back soon. I bought BO2 cause of Nuketown 2025. Its kinda like teasing a baby with candy, then you gave it to the baby for a few seconds and take it back.

They should bring it back, in all sence, they lied to us. Said Nuketown was for if you pre-ordered, but many bought the game after it came out and still got Nuketown. Then they take it away. Awesome, huh. haha.
