GTA V PC Petition reaches 100,000

leave a comment »

Rockstar Studios has announced that their upcoming release, Grand Theft Auto V, will be coming out on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, failing to mention the possibility of a PC release or port.

This has prompted some fans to sign a petition asking for the game to be released on PC. From the petition’s post:

To: Rockstar Games

Please release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many people’s lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have.

The petition has recently reached 100,000 signatures and is going on to try and get 150,000 people. Rockstar has yet to comment on the petition or the possibility of GTA V being released on PC.

GTA V is scheduled to be released in Spring 2013.

Cheap Ass Gamer recently received rumors from a GameStop employee about their Black Friday deals, which includes a rather impractical Xbox 360 Deal.

According to the anonymous employee, you will be able to get a 250 GB Xbox 360 as well as Skyrim, Forza 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,  all for $250.

The PlayStation 3 deal is similar, with the opportunity to get a  PlayStation 3 250 GB System with 5 Free Games (Infamous, Infamous 2, Infamous: Festival of Blood, Uncharted, and Uncharted 2) for $200.

Other deals from GameStop, as well as other stores’ Black Friday Deals, can be found on the post here.

A trailer was released today announcing a new game add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, titled Dragonborn. Among other things, the trailer introduces dragon riding mechanics, mounts, and new armor.

The trailer also introduces Solstheim, an obscure island in the country of Morrowind, where the first ever dragonborn resides. Whether this is a hint that we will be seeing more Morrowind content or that Bethesda was just bored of being confined in Skyrim has yet to be seen.

The add-on will be released December 6 for the Xbox 360 and will cost 1600 Microsoft Points. PC and PS3 release dates have yet to be announced.
